The film, having been accidently tinted brilliant magenta by the processing lab, it passed into its own Chinese mode, wherein a butterfly motionless on a stalk in commune with the wild air of the garden and the hovering twilight moon. This film lay dormant for a number of years and when I rediscovered it I was amazed at its authenticity of mood for it seems to retain some of my Paracelsian philosophy of the interlocked elements of nature: light, air, and planetary influence.
